BrainsWay Q2 2026: Revenue Growth, Operating Leverage, and the Guidance Test

BrainsWay Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWAY) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $17.1 million, up 35% from $12.6 million a year earlier. Operating income rose to $2.4 million from $0.6 million, while net income increased to $2.7 million from $2.0 million. The useful question is not whether trading volume spiked after the release, but whether system shipments and contracted demand continue to convert into profitable revenue.

What the official filing shows

MetricQ2 2025Q2 2026
Revenue$12.6 million$17.1 million
Operating income$0.6 million$2.4 million
Net income$2.0 million$2.7 million

The company shipped 125 Deep TMS systems, 42% more than a year earlier. Remaining performance obligations reached $80.4 million, up 30%. It also generated $6.3 million of operating cash flow during the quarter and held $62.4 million in cash, cash equivalents, and restricted cash at June 30.

Raised outlook, with execution still required

BrainsWay raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $68 million–$70 million from $66 million–$68 million. It expects operating income of 13.5%–14% of revenue and adjusted EBITDA of $13 million–$14 million. Adjusted EBITDA is a non-IFRS measure, so the operating-income margin and cash generation remain the cleaner checks on execution.

Risk and follow-up test

The positive case is that higher shipments and RPO support continued revenue growth while operating expenses grow more slowly. The opposing case is that orders are delayed, insurer coverage expands more slowly than expected, or the higher shipment base fails to sustain margins. The next earnings filing should be checked for revenue growth, operating margin, operating cash flow, and RPO on the same basis.
